The designer Janaina Luisa da Silva Moroni teaches and does research since 2004 on topics regarding creativity, design and innovation. She has worked in Argentina, Brazil, Italy, Spain and Uruguay. She has published books, essays and articles, organised conferences and events and has led, coordinated and been a member of research teams, and has worked as well in the administrative aspects of various degree courses in design. She has patented products, organised workshops and courses in public and private institutions, both live and online. She obtained her degree in Design at the ULBRA University, and followed the MBA course in Educational Management at the same university and the Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning at the Faculty of Architecture of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul, UFRGS. Since 2009 she is Professor of the course in Integrated Creative Practice in Design at UFRGS, which applies her own creative method for design projects, "Generaidee". She is currently a PhD candidate in Design at the University of Florence, with a thesis entitled “Creative and innovative design: from Leonardo da Vinci to the present day, incentive tools for creative projects” ("Design creativo e innovativo: da Leonardo da Vinci ai nostri giorni, strumenti di stimolo ai progetti creativi").
