The Regional Design Lab carries out research activities and offers educational services in the field of regional and large area planning. Approaching the analysis and practices of spacial planning of large areas from the point of view of the theories of regional design, the aim of the Laboratory is to answer some of the common questions regarding the academic debate and satisfy the administrative needs of the regional government, which concern:
Opening hoursOpening hours are determined by the Scientific Director and may vary due to organisational reasons or in order to better the services offered. Every modification to the opening hours is communicated in advance the coordinator of the Laboratories and the joint commission. It is the duty of the Scientific Director to update the website concerning the Opening hours of the Laboratory and to communicate immediately any variation.
Paid activities
The Regional Design Lab may enter into research agreements and paying contracts for carrying out research and assessment activities in the field of regional and large area planning, the amounts being determined on a case by case basis in accordance with the nature and scope of the agreed activities.
TraineeshipsThe Laboratory envisages vocational and educational activities, including traineeships related to the research agreements in process, up to a maximum of three active trainees at a time.
